Under Admin >> Regie you will find the menu item Director, which gives you full control over the design and management of your event stages. With its versatile features, you can create both technically and visually appealing stages for attendees.
Director: General #
In the area Generally you define all basic information and settings for the stage:
Select type #
- Iframe: Displays content from external websites via an embedded iframe.
- HTML: Use custom HTML code for the stage.
- Template: Select a predefined template to quickly add content.
- External link: Link directly to an external URL, which will then be displayed as a stage in the left sidebar.
Select template #
If the type: Template is selected, you can add a pre-made template from your database here. Clicking the "Click to select a template" field opens the template library. Here, you'll find a few pre-made stage types to start with. All of these templates are codeless.
Icon & menu title #
Here you can select an individual icon that represents this stage in the menu. Menu title is the name under which the stage is visible in the sidebar.
Tip: Choose a concise and meaningful title, such as “Homepage.”
Slug #
The slug is the unique URL of the stage. It is automatically generated but can be customized.

Background image #
Upload an image file here to be used as the background for the stage. For example, use your consistent design to Corporate Identityy to enhance your event.
Iframe #
This field is used to embed content via iFrame. You can find out more here.
A notice: Be careful, an insecurely configured iFrame could potentially be abused. Therefore, only trustworthy content should be embedded!
External link #
Here you can enter an external URL if you want the stage to load content directly from another website or platform. If you select "Type" "External link“, the page will then be displayed on the stage. This option is particularly suitable for integrating third-party providers such as live streams or interactive tools.

With one click, you can view the current stage in a new browser tab and check how it looks to participants.

Here, if selected, the template is displayed as HTML code and can be adapted as required.
Director: Settings #
The area Settings Allows you to control the accessibility and user experience of all stages. You determine which guests have access to each stage. Through targeted customization, you can ensure that event stages are displayed to exactly the right people at the right time.
Stage visible to guest #
This setting allows all guests access to the stage. There are no restrictions, and the stage is accessible to every participant by default.
Stage not visible to guest #
If you define this option, the stage will not be visible to any guests. This setting is suitable for stages intended only for internal testing or future activations.
Stage not visible to guest, visible if CURRENT_STAGE_ID > current stage #
With this rule, the stage will only be visible to guests if their current Stage ID larger than the current stage. This is useful for events where participants must unlock stages in a specific order.
Stage not visible to guest, visible when stage URL is called #
This option allows access to the stage only if a guest directly knows or receives the stage's URL. This can be useful for exclusive stages or hidden content.
Stage visible to physical guest #
This setting displays the stage only to attendees who are physically present at the event. It's suitable, for example, for hybrid events where certain content should be accessible only on-site.
Stage visible to virtual guest #
Unlike the previous option, the stage here is only displayed to guests who attend the event virtually. This is especially relevant for online-only content.
Stage visible to guest when guest has a specific day #
Here you can set the visibility of the stage to a day A tag is an attribute assigned to guests during registration or through specific actions. This feature allows content to be targeted to defined audiences. (for example VIP tickets or special categories).
Stage visible to logged in users #
This option restricts the stage to users who are logged into the event system.
Language for editing #
This is where you set the language to be edited. Depending on which languages are enabled in the event, stages can be created in different languages.
Deposit of currency awarded after first opening #
If a number is specified here, the user will be awarded that number of points/currency when they first open the stage. The points/currency can be linked to triggers.
