What are the advantages of sending SMTP emails via your own infrastructure? #
Sending emails through your own SMTP server gives you more control over deliverability and the sender address. Sending emails through your own SMTP server can make them appear more personalized and authentic, often resulting in better delivery rates and greater credibility with the recipient. Using your own SMTP server also ensures that your email communications are secure and protected. You have the option of using encryption technologies such as SSL or TLS to protect your emails from unwanted access.

Step 1: Obtain SMTP data #
To your SMTP server to ONevents, you first need the correct SMTP data from your email provider. Each provider has different SMTP data, such as the Host address and the portIf you don't know your provider's exact details, you can easily find them out.
Here is an overview of the most common SMTP data that might help you.
Step 2: Store SMTP data in the space #
Navigate to Settings >> SMTP – there you can store the data of your SMTP server.
Enter your SMTP details (host address, port, username, password) and select the encryption.
Step 3: Check email sender and adjust if necessary #
In order for sending via your SMTP server to work correctly, it is important that the email sender address is also configured correctly.
Check the sender address under the menu item Settings >> Emails.
